Proquinal® Costa Rica
Recognised in 2015 as the first carbon-neutral coated fabric facility in the world, Costa Rica focuses on sustainability while delivering consistent quality. In 2022, we strengthened our capabilities with a new calendering line and upgraded our automated distribution centre. Supporting efficient production and entry into new sectors such as medical devices, films, technical tarps, and geomembranes. We operate with top quality standards and a global outlook.
Proquinal® Colombia
Across 23,200 m², we produce over 16 million metres annually of coated fabrics, flooring, and films. This robust facility enables us to operate efficiently maintaining the best quality recognised throughout our extensive worldwide customer base.

We measure our emissions, reduce them through more efficient processes, and offset the remaining scope 1 and 2 emissions through certified projects, consolidating our position as one of the industry’s pioneers in achieving Carbon Neutrality.
In Costa Rica, we transform organic waste into compost, donate production waste to over six community-supporting organization, and recover waste through reuse, recycling, and co-processing. In Colombia, we valourise industrial waste into materials suitable for flooring production.
With more than 760 solar panels installed across Colombia and Costa Rica, and energy and environmental management systems certified under ISO 14001 and ISO 50001, we manage our energy consumption responsibly.
At our facilities, water in transport rollers is recirculated in a closed-loop system, maximizing efficiency and minimizing consumption. In Costa Rica, we further treat wastewater for reuse in irrigation and harvest rainwater for maintenance.
